It’s hard to believe, but it really has been that long. My professional relationship with model Jake has been an amazing ride. I am just so blessed and grateful that in spite of his amazing success and professional contacts in LA and Chicago that he keeps coming back to Blip In Time! Mom paid me the most enormous compliment ever when she said she chooses ME! Yeah Me!!!! I did Jake’s very first portfolio and we do this annually and we are now on #5! and with each and every portfolio update, he has grown so has his success (by much greater margins though). He just has that twinkle (not to mention that hair LOL) Recent accomplishments include: episodes of Brothers and Sisters & America’s Most Wanted (not wanted but a re-enactment) , numerous print and TV ads (as well as numerous ads for Kohls including the back to schools ads for 2009 and now 2010 where he’ll be on the COVER TOO!!! watch for it in the paper), the lead child role in a movie with Ken Davitian & John Lovitz and recently he even did a pilot for Nickelodeon. Have you said WOW yet???? I know when I see it all written out I still do. Anyway….good fun with Jake as always….and as always he ROCKS!!! Good Luck Jake in all your endeavors. Anyone that has followed my blog for a while might remember Jake. Jake has been my client for about 5 1/2 years…and during that time I have been amazed by this kid and his success. Originally a family portrait client, his mom came to me to help him with his modeling portfolio…Jake had an interest in modeling and acting. As we all know…lots of kids want to do this, but it’s a long shot…that 1 in a million chance that you will be noticed and work….well Jake is certainly 1 in a MILLION!!!! and then some.
Recent accomplishments include the lead child actor a dark comedy shot this spring with John Lovitz and Ken Davitian (can you believe that????), commercial work with Kohls Department Store and Meier, a part on Brothers & Sisters Season 4 Episode 12 and so many more….UNBELIEVABLE

Before Vacation I took Jake out for his annual portfolio update….he also sported a new “straight hair” look which is very cool (can you believe naturally that is a mop of curls) !!! We got totally rained out with a HUGE thunderstorm rolling in so I only have a handful of shots…BUT…..we will go out again soon and finish up….this is just the beginning.

Jake…much and continued success….so pleased to be able to join you (and you mom) on this journey….I certainly did know you when!

This incredibly handsome young man has been with me from the very beginning here in Ohio. It’s been amazing to watch “Js” transformation from an adorable little kid to a poised young man, actor and model. “J” has been traveling the US in the last 6 months in pursuit of his dream. He aspires to act and model, and without a doubt will find great success doing that and anything he sets his mind to! He just has it. He is incredibly handsome, but has that sparkle and the personality that will truly set him apart.

On the most gorgeous of spring days his mom and I took him out for his semi-annual portfolio update. We went to two new locations, one brand new for both of us, and another I tried out once before for my own holiday card photos. Both ROCKED!!!!! The light was gorgeous (mom held my new reflector like an old pro), the kid was fabulous and I LOVE the pics. Here are just a few to see, I am so excited with these and looking forward to being able to be outdoors again. I miss location shooting so much, and this session got me feeling excited about my art all over again!!!!

Thanks “J” for an amazing shoot. It was so much fun. I hope you like your new pics…and so do they casting agents!!!!!!! I cannot believe we’ve been at this for four years. I suspect in another four you will be a face that many recognize!
