We went to one of my favorite local spots and had a ROCKIN’ session !  She did an amazing job and had some really cute outfit choices adding those cool accessories like a knit hat and cowboy boots to really kick it up a notch.

What an AMAZING group of girls I have for 2011….I still cannot even believe it.  Choosing just two images of each of them was really really hard, but I had to narrow it down.  LOL!!!!!

Not only are these girls beautiful (they are stunners really!)…..and sweet (OMG…what nice, fun girls)….but they are tough too.  LOL!  We actually did this shoot in the pouring down rain.  Seriously, it was a miserable day, but forecasts and schedules told me that regardless we needed to push forward!!!  There was no way we’d make our deadline if we didn’t, and forecasts for this coming weekend were equally dismal.  So we did it.  I gave ALL of them the option to opt out…but they came anyway and although cold and wet (all of us)  we had such good fun!!!!  Some of my equipment however has seen better days.

We managed at one of my favorite urban spots and managed to sneak in pics that look as though the weather cooperated.  I cannot imagine what I could have gotten had it not been such a mess.  Posing was limited due to wet, soggy and muddy conditions (and my shoes were tossed in the garbage…haha)

I am not kidding….all three of these children have the most amazing and captivating eyes…blue like the sea…and bigger than you can even imagine.  What a beautiful bunch.  Mom scheduled this session b/c beautiful big sister just got her braces off, and she looked so different.  So grown up.  I hope she loves the “new” look…I think she looks great.  Brothers came along too and we had a fun family shoot.  What I loved most about this family is the interaction with the little one.  Like my family there is a big spread between the two youngest…and that little guy gets so much love from his older siblings.  It was so fun to see….so heartwarming.

sweet sweet Elli.  what can I say.  She is the most darling little girl…you could just eat her up.  I am so happy Mom Heather continues to bring her back so i can see just how much she has grown.  Just after being adopted by her parents Elli came to visit.  Really it was only a little over a year ago…she didn’t have “words” yet, and didn’t even understand English, but you could see the wheels turning.  She was one happy and VERY smart little girl.  She loved pearls, and playing with the fluff on the tutus, but was so very quiet….Fast Forward….Elli has exploded with personality and has really come out of her shell.

This weekend has been a lot of fun, especially for my little Addy.  It’s been super fun because her two little cousins, my twin nieces Sophia and Isabella drove all the way to Mason, OHIO from Princeton, NJ to visit.  What a treat!!  An extra special treat for little Addy as she really, outside of school and organized activities never has the chance to play with kids her own age.  She was so excited to have the world LONGEST playdate.  This afternoon we are doing a “real” family shoot, but last night we decided to play “studio” for fun.  We got some darling captures…and LOTS AND LOTS of laughs while I told them the story of the little princesses and the Hungry Monster named “PopPop” and the queen MomMom that saved the day by feeding the hungry monster.  LOL!!!!  It really was hysterical (sorry mom and dad, but it worked!!!)  I just wanted to show off my beautiful little nieces, who are so much fun and full of personality (and so different from each other) and did I mention that they share my birthday…..PERFECT!!!!

This afternoon Addy and I decided to ROCK OUT!  We turned up the tunes…put on our Rock Star outfit…grabbed an electric guitar (or ‘tar” as she calls it) and showed a little “tude” ……my sweet little princess can pull of edgy pretty well.  OMG…what’s in store for me in the teen years I cannot even imagine.

These were just for fun — not perfect by any means, but I wanted to share.  I have a cool new option in the studio for some urban looks.
