Oh…what can I say. This baby is simply beautiful (as is her momma). I must admit that I was a little worried that at 7 weeks she might not be all that agreeable to a “newborn” session, but I couldn’t have been more wrong. Mom decided to wait b/c poor little Poppy broke her collar bone during delivery. Ouch. But you would never know that this little one even had a care in the world. I don’t think she even cried once during our 2 1/2 hour session. We took breaks, but not because she was fussy really, she smiled and cooed and seemed restless at moments, but that was it…WOW. She preformed like a champ….and even snoozed long enough to get the perfect sleepy newborn shots that all my clients so desire. I could just eat this little girl up. Here is a sneak peek at sweet little Maren (or Poppy as she is affectionately called). She is gorgeous and I feel so incredibly honored that Mom Monica chose me to capture her first precious portraits. There are soooooooo many it’s going to take a while pick out my favs.
