Without a doubt, one of the greatest joys (in the midst of the craziness of the busiest time of the year) of the holiday season is visits from repeat clients. Many of these families (especially those with older children) only visit once a year. They do a quick holiday mini session and get an updated family portrait, some great individual shots of the kids, and a spectacular holiday greeting card. Each year when these kids come to visit it’s a treat. I am never short of surprise and how much the kids have grown and changed…but in spite of the changes one thing always stays the same, and in most cases gets better. They kids are seasoned PROS…they have had fun in the past, they know the drill and take direction like they have been doing this for years (tee hee…they have)…..I do think that they come to realize that a portrait session is not a painful experience, but much the opposite. We can have fun too!!!! And with the older kids it’s fun to hear that they LOVED their pictures too, and their holiday cards.
This family is one of my favorites. They are just great!!! Like my own four kids they are each completely unique in looks and personality, but they are a great, tight unit!!! Last year we brought along their two dogs, but this year the focus as all about them!!!! I am deligthed with the results, but will jsut post one since I don’t want to ruin the holiday card impact. This is Matt, Katie, Chris and Cody…They ROcK!!!!!!!
