these are the moments….{mason ohio family photographer}

Spring break for the Hulbert Clan was about nothing by relaxing, playing and enjoying time together and with our wonderful friends we traveled with this year!!!!  We are so blessed to be able to have such amazing experiences, and to be able to share them with other people whom we adore!  Honestly, the entire drive back to Cincinnati, all I could think of was when we were going to get to do it again.  I could have easily stayed a few more days.  LOL!!!!  Vacation isn’t without it’s issues….not being there, but upon coming home.  Tucker, our dog, was none to happy with us, and of course I came home to a GIANT swim team project in need of immediate attention, and work that had fallen a tad behind.  I sincerely apologize to my wonderful clients who put up with me…and my intense need for a trip to the beach.  I thought I would share just a little some snap shots from our trip. My kids, being my kids, wanted NOTHING this trip to do with portraits!!!  I tried once and well, I am picky, and they just wont do!!!  The two older ones were such pains….fighting over who got to hold the little one in the pics….I threw the towel in.  My favorite pics from the trip and not necessarily the most artistic, or technically precise, but are my memories.  I tell my clients ALL the time that this is so important.  We need to capture these moments…not every picture needs to be a portrait.  Not every picture needs to be enlarged and hung on the wall.  That goes for my family too.  Build memories…don’t miss a single one.  Have something to look back on and remember when…it all passes way too quickly.   Below are some my favorite memories….the first picture is BY FAR my favorite.  My husband and I have always had this little giggle that “HULBERTS”cannot fly a kite…well this trip we proved ourselves wrong…we flew  an elephant (no kidding)  we flew a giant spinning circle of sorts….AND if that wasn’t enough we got a tiny little fish for Addy to fly…This first snapshot is a sunset kite flying night with My oldest, youngest and husband…it was such a beautiful full moon…watching them walk along the beach together took my breath away.  The rest of the pics are silly…digging in the sand…rug  rats for sure, but smiles on those faces…I tresure them all and want to make sure I remember exactly how it was………sigh……….
